There are many videos of alpine flights. The team from helicopterflug.ch wanted to record a 360° panoramic flight with us, which stands out from the crowd.
To produce a 360° film at sub-zero temperatures over the snow-covered four-thousand peaks is definitely not an easy task. Our customer helikopterflug.ch wants the first 360° panoramic flight in a helicopter over the Alps.
Two helicopters were used for the 360° film. During the 40-minute overflight, the six cameras, which were placed outside the helicopters, shot over 120 gigabytes of film material.
Only the best scenes were selected for the interactive video so that the viewer can control it by tilting and rotating 360°.
The four-minute short film was a social media star: After only being online for a week, it already recorded 15,000 views on YouTube and 150,000 views on Facebook, all without advertising. In the meantime, the 360° clip has been viewed over a million times on Facebook.
