Our project in cooperation with the agency KOMMPAKT brings Silja Walter’s work to life in Fahr Monastery.

Prioress Irene Gassmann’s statement already says a lot: “Silja Walter wanted a computer when she was 80. With 90 an Internet connection. She would certainly be overjoyed that the Fahr monastery is accessible as a virtual reality experience for her 100th birthday.”

The 360° experience in honour of the 100th anniversary of the Benedictine nun and former prioress of the Fahr monastery Silja Walter shows ten locations in and around the Fahr monastery.

The spoken texts and poems, as well as the atmospheric 360° shots, invite you to linger and discover.

For the responsive screen experience, we created a customized web interface, which allows the integration of 360° recordings in combination with sound. In addition to the website, the locations can be experienced via smartphone using the VR cardboard glasses specially produced for this event.
