Every year in April, the Zurich guilds celebrate the Sechseläuten, whose tradition dates back to the 16th century. The «Böögg» is burned at the stake to drive away winter and welcome spring.

This year it took 17 minutes and 44 seconds for the «Böögg» to lose its head. Our 360° reportage for BlickVR shows the spectacle from the construction to the big bang.

In order to give the audience even more background information on the Zurich Tradition Festival, we accompanied the guild to the Waag and conducted an interview with the builder and father of the «Böögg» Lukas Meier.
